Hi! I’m Rickina, a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience helping children reach their full potential.
I’m a New York State professionally licensed special education teacher with extensive experience in classrooms, small groups and one-on-one settings.
My work is grounded in evidence-based methods and a deep belief that every child can thrive when given the right support.
A reading and writing specialist trained in both The Writing Revolution and Orton-Gillingham, I combine structured literacy and behavior-based teaching with a holistic, heart-centered philosophy.
I also provide training for parents and educators, helping them create environments where learning feels safe,joyful and effective.
